Summer Berry Cheerios Bowl

Last week I was CRAVING Cheerios cereal with blueberries! It has been one of my favorite combos since I was a kid, and now that blueberry season is here, I bought a big carton of them with the intent to satisfy my craving! Then I thought, how can I make this bowl even more nutritious? Thus sparked this delicious combo; and I have to be honest, I’ve had this for breakfast every day for a straight week! I can’t get enough!

For breakfast I always aim for a protein and fiber rich combo. Both are important for balancing your blood sugar and keeping you feeling full for a longer period of time. There is nothing wrong with having just a pop-tart in the morning, but for me, it makes me feel sluggish, run down, and hungry in an hour, and I don’t like feeling that way. Plus, when I eat a breakfast full of sugar and only carbs, I feel awful and nauseous the entire day. I know my body responds well to a high protein, high fiber breakfast, and this fruit, nut, and cereal bowl is perfect for that!

So if you’re looking for an incredibly simple, no cook, healthy breakfast for you and the whole family, try this recipe!
