Add lavender flowers, sugar, water, and salt to a saucepan. DO NOT add the lemon juice yet, we will add that at the very end. Stir to combine, then turn the heat to high and bring to a boil.
Once boiling, turn the heat down to low, and let the mixture simmer for 10 minutes.
After 10 minutes, remove the saucepan from the heat, and let the mixture steep on the counter for 20 minutes.
After steeping for 20 minutes, strain out the lavender flowers from the syrup and discard.
Add in the lemon juice, and stir to combine.
Let the Homemade Lavender Syrup cool at room temperature for at least an hour before adding a lid and storing in the fridge for up to 3 weeks.
