Hot Dutch Bros Double Torture

  • 1 tablespoon Torani Vanilla Syrup
  • 4 shots espresso
  • 6-8 ounces chocolate milk steamed
  • whipped cream optional

Instructions

Iced Dutch Bros Double Torture

  • Add Vanilla Syrup to a mason jar or large measuring cup.
  • Brew your espresso shots using your preferred espresso making method. See my blog post on Five Ways to Make Espresso at Home.
  • Pour the espresso into the mason jar/large measuring cup over the vanilla syrup, add chocolate milk, and stir to combine.
  • Add ice to a separate serving cup and pour the Double Torture mixture over the ice. PRO TIP: Carefully pour the mixture back and forth between the two cups to chill the entire drink!
  • Top with whipped cream (optional), and enjoy!

Hot Dutch Bros Double Torture

  • Brew your espresso shots using your preferred espresso making method into a cup. See my blog post on Five Ways to Make Espresso at Home.
  • To a cup, combine the vanilla syrup and the espresso shots and stir to combine.
  • Add chocolate milk to a milk frothing pitcher and steam using a steam wand. If you don't have an espresso machine with a steam wand, you can warm and froth the milk using an aerroccino, or you could warm the milk in a pot/ in the microwave, and froth the warmed milk with a handheld milk frother until foamy.
  • Pour the steamed chocolate milk over the vanilla syrup-espresso mixture, top with whipped cream (optional), and enjoy!

Please note this recipe card shows my preferred ratio for an at home Dutch Bros Double Torture. For exact Dutch Bros measurements, follow these ratios:
 
SMALL: 1 ounce Torani Vanilla Syrup, 4 shots espresso, 3 ounces chocolate milk
 
MEDIUM: 1 ounce Torani Vanilla Syrup, 4 shots espresso, 7 ounces chocolate milk
 
LARGE: 1 ounce Torani Vanilla Syrup, 6 shots espresso, 9 ounces chocolate milk
