Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
In a large baking dish, combine sliced fresh peaches, canned peaches (drained), brown sugar, and 2 tbsp of cinnamon and mix well.
Cut 1/4 cup butter into small cubes and place evenly on top of peaches mixture.
In a separate large bowl, combine topping ingredients:melted butter, flour, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, salt and walnuts and mix well.
Sprinkle topping mixture evenly over the peaches and butter cubes and then bake for 35-40 minutes at 375 or until the topping is slightly browned.
Remove baking dish from the oven, let the cobbler cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, or by itself.
