Blackberry Sage Refresher Base

Blackberry Sage Refresher

  • ice
  • small handful blackberries fresh, frozen, or freeze dried
  • 6 ounces water use lemonade for the lemonade refresher, and use coconut milk for the midnight drink
  • 6 ounces Blackberry Sage Refresher Base recipe above
  • 1 scoop green coffee bean powder OPTIONAL

Instructions

Blackberry Sage Refresher Base

  • To a large pot, add in the white grape juice, fresh or frozen blackberries, lemon juice, fresh sage, salt, and OPTIONAL: green coffee bean powder.
  • Bring the mixture to a roaring boil with lots of scary bubbles.
  • Once boiling, use a potato masher to gently smash the blackberries to allow them to release all their flavor.
  • Lower the heat to medium low, and let simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  • Once the mixture has simmered for 10-12 minutes, strain out the blackberries and sage using a strainer.
  • Allow the Blackberry Sage Refresher Base to cool completely before making your drink, or adding to an air tight container and placing in the fridge to store for up to 3 weeks.

Blackberry Sage Refresher

  • To a shaker cup, add in ice, fresh or frozen blackberries, water (or lemonade/coconut milk), Starbucks Blackberry Sage Refresher Base, and OPTIONAL green coffee bean powder if desired (and if you didn't already add it to the base before cooking).
  • Add a lid and shake 10 times or until the mixture until combined and chilled.
  • Pour your Blackberry Sage Refresher into a glass, and enjoy!

Notes

For the LEMONADE version, do 6 ounces lemonade instead of water
For the MIDNIGHT DRINK version, 6 ounces coconut milk instead of water
