Pop your popcorn and add salt if needed. Opt for a bag of microwave popcorn or pop your own using popcorn kernels, your choice of oil or butter, and a generous pinch of salt, and place the popped popcorn in a large bowl.
Remove the plastic wrapper from your candy canes, and add the candy canes to a plastic baggy. Place the bag on top of a tea towel or kitchen towel to prevent the candy canes from making divets in your countertop/table/floor. Smash the candy canes with a rolling pin or mallet until fully crushed.
Break up a white chocolate bar into small pieces and add to a microwave safe bowl. Microwave in 15 second intervals until full melted, stirring between each interval.
Once melted, add a pinch of salt to the white chocolate, and stir until the salt is dissolved.
Pour the melted white chocolate and the crushed candy canes over the popped salted popcorn, and mix well until the popcorn is fully coated.
Add holiday sprinkles, and enjoy!
