Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

When I say these crispy baked sweet potato fries are gonna knock your socks off, I MEAN IT!!! They truly taste like you bought them from a restaurant and they are truly very simple to make! Let’s get to crispin’!

Crispy Baked Sweet Potato Fries

Makes 2 servings | Total Cook Time: 60 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1 large sweet potato
  • 1 tbsp corn starch
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tbsp paprika
  • 1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
Instructions: Preheat oven to 420 degrees Slice sweet potato into french fry shapes and add them to a large bowl Coat sweet potato fries in cornstarch, then add oil and all the seasonings EXCEPT THE PARSLEY. Mix well. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the coated fries in single layer (as shown on right) Bake for 24 minutes, flipping the fries after 12 minutes. The fries should be golden and crispy, but not burnt. Once fries are golden and crispy, remove from the oven, and sprinkle with dried parsley flakes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce. I love the sweet potato fries with this simple garlic aioli recipe!

Make these sweet potato fries with burgers for dinner or as a side with a Grilled Salmon Caesar Salad or a Buffalo Chicken Caesar Salad! I like to make a big batch of these at the start of the week and then reheat for 5-7 minutes in the air fryer until crispy again!
