This gift guide is a compilation of all my favorite at home coffee must haves to help you, or the mom in your life, level up your at home coffee!

JavaSok – Use Code KAT20 for 20% off your purchase
Words cannot express enough how much I love JavaSoks! I use one every single day with my iced coffee, McDonald’s Diet Coke, or my afternoon guava lemonade! They keep your drink colder for longer, and they help keep the condensation inside the JavaSok, and off your desk. No more sweaty puddles, and no more lukewarm iced coffee! They have tons of different designs and sizes to fit your cup, so you can match or mismatch with your mom!

Laka Java Beans
I recently discovered Laka Java and I am in love! Their beans are roasted to order, they arrive right to your door at peak freshness, and it’s free shipping! I have tried their WAHINE ROAST, PURA VIDA ROAST, and SLEEPING VOLCANO ROAST and I love them all! Hands down, my favorite coffee beans currently, and I think your mom would love them too! Order ASAP to get them for Mother’s Day – they usually ship within 3-5 business days. Use code: katerinafaith for 10% off your order!

Milk Frother
I’m not kidding when I say this handheld milk frother will change your life! It will absolutely level up your at home barista skills. Use it to make the thickest at home cold foam, whisk together your matcha or instant espresso, or mix together your at home refresher ingredients! I’m not sure what type of motor they add in this thing, but it is truly ELITE!

Torani Syrups
Get rid of the flavored coffee creamer, and bring in the Torani syrups! Torani has so many flavors, it is actually insane! Plus they offer many of their flavors in sugar free and they have an entire Puremade line of syrups with no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives. Places you can find Torani syrups: World Market, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, HomeGoods, US Foods Chef’s Store, Amazon, Torani Website, Sam’s Club.

Nespresso VertuoPlus
This machine is great for anyone who wants to level up their at home coffee, with minimal effort! Nespresso machines are so easy to use, you just pop the pod into the machine, and press start! You can walk away while the machine does it’s thing, and then come back to add in your syrups and milk. Easy peasy, and the coffee is actually really impressive. You can make espresso, regular brewed coffee, or tea with this machine! My personal favorite pods are these: Starbucks Blonde Roast Espresso Pods. I buy them on Amazon because they are cheaper per box, but you can find individual boxes at Target for about $10.

Espresso Machine Essentials
These tools have leveled up my espresso game like nobody’s business! Sure, I pulled okay shots before, but once I implemented these tools in my everyday espresso process, I noticed a huge difference in my extractions and I started enjoying my lattes and espresso based drinks even more!
- Coffee Scale – Use this to weigh your beans, weigh how much espresso you have after extraction, and use the timer to time your extraction process.
- Dosing Funnel – Add this piece to your portafilter to give it extra height so the grounds don’t fall out of the basket and onto the counter. This helps create less mess but also helps you to have more consistent extractions since you lose less of the grounds!
- Espresso Stirrer – When you grind espresso beans into the basket, clumps form and create uneven air pockets within the basket. This espresso stirrer will help you get rid of those clumps and air pockets for a more even packed espresso puck resulting in better overall extraction!
- Tamper/Distributor – Most espresso machines come with a tamper, but usually they require you to do all the work, and unless you’re tamping with the exact same amount of pressure every time (not likely), chances are the grounds are packed into the basket inconsistently. This tool not only helps you tamp with equal pressure every time, but it also help distribute the grounds evenly within the basket. The end result: a consistent and great extraction every time!
- Electric Coffee Grinder – If your espresso machine or maker does not come with a grinder, this electric coffee grinder is perfect for quickly grinding beans into a super fine powder, perfect for at home espresso! I HIGHLY recommend grinding your beans fresh rather than buying pre-ground coffee for espresso!
- Espresso Shot Glasses – These are the perfect size for a single, double, triple, or quad shot of espresso, and they have a spout for super easy pouring and spillage!

Atomic Habits Book
This is my favorite book I’ve read in a long time! It challenges you in ways you’re afraid to be challenged, but in an absolutely good way! The author does such a great job of giving you practical examples of how you can change your life for the better, one step at a time. Say you want to make more at home coffee, this book will help you adjust your mindset and your environment to make at home coffee an everyday occurrence!
