If you live in part of the country that does not have a Dutch Bros. Coffee location, do not fret! I’m showing you how to make the delicious and popular Palm Beach Black Tea at home! This drink is a fabulous combination of pomegranate syrup and peach syrup to give you a summery feel regardless of the time of year. Plus, it is so unbelievably simple at home, so let’s get to it!
Ingredients:
- 1 tablespoon Torani Pomegranate Syrup (or Sugar Free Torani Pomegranate Syrup)
- 1 tablespoon Torani Peach Syrup (or Sugar Free Torani Peach Syrup)
- 16 ounces unsweetened black tea (chilled)
- Ice
How to make a Dutch Bros Palm Beach Black Tea:
- To a cup, add your two syrups, then pour in the black tea.
- Top the rest of the cup off with ice, give the drink a stir, and enjoy your delicious Dutch Bros Palm Beach Black Tea at home!
Can I Make This As a Green Tea?
Absolutely! Simply swap the chilled black tea in the recipe for chilled green tea!
You can use whatever tea you like in this recipe. Other options include:
- White Tea
- Passion Tea
- Decaf Black Tea
- Decaf Green Tea
- Country Peach Passion Tea (caffeine-free)
- Hibiscus Tea
How To Make Iced Tea With Tea Bags?
Tea bags are the most cost effective option when it comes to at home tea, so I very much recommend using tea bags if you plan on making multiple iced tea drinks per day or per week! My ideal ratio:
- 1 tea bag for every 6 ounces of water
Bring your water to a boil, then add your tea bag(s) to a cup or a pitcher. Pour the boiling water over the tea bag(s) and let steep for 5-10 minutes. The longer you steep, the stronger your tea will be. The shorter you steep, the weaker your tea will be.
After 5-10 minutes, remove the tea bag(s) from the cup or pitcher and let the liquid to sit at room temperature until the vessel is cool enough to place in the fridge. Let the tea chill in the fridge for at least two hours before serving.
Can I Use Flavors Other Than Peach and Pomegranate?
Of course you can! Use whatever flavor or flavors your heart desires! Dutch Bros has a ton of flavor combinations for their black teas and green teas, so you’ll never get bored! Some of my favorites:
- “Double Rainbro” – Strawberry + Peach + Coconut
- “Freedom” – Blue Raspberry + Raspberry + Vanilla
- “Hyperchrome” – Orange + Passion Fruit + Pomegranate
- “Starry Night” – Blue Raspberry + Blackberry
Make It Creamy
If you’ve never tried adding cream or milk to your iced teas, you are missing out! The tea becomes extra creamy and sweet, and it’s a great way to easily elevate your at home drinks!
Try adding a splash of half & half, heavy cream, whole milk, or coffee creamer to your tea and mix to combine. I promise, it’ll blow your mind!
Add True Lime
I have recently become quite addicted to using True Lime packets in every single beverage I consume throughout the day. Well, except coffee of course. I love True Lime in water, sparkling waters, iced teas, and sodas!
True Lime is just crystallized lime that you can add to your drinks to give it a limey taste. There’s no added sugars in it, just delicious lime flavor!
I love keeping the packets in my purse, in my car, or at my desk so I can add a few packets to whatever beverage I have on hand.
I genuinely feel like True Lime is like magic because when I add it to my drinks with sugar free syrups, the drinks taste sweet and delicious, just like if I were to add regular sugar syrups to it!
Of course, if you don’t have True Lime on hand, just squeeze some lime (or lemon) into your tea since it’s the same thing!
