Peach Cobbler Chai Latte

If you’re a fan of warm, spiced desserts and cozy drinks, this Iced Peach Cobbler Chai is going to be your new summer obsession. It blends the bold, spicy flavor of chai with a rich, buttery Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup, creating a drink that’s equal parts refreshing and nostalgic.

Imagine your favorite summer dessert—fresh peaches baked into a cinnamon-laced cobbler—poured over ice and swirled into a creamy, spiced latte. That’s exactly what this tastes like.

Whether you’re looking for a mid-afternoon pick-me-up or a fun weekend treat, this recipe is quick to make and feels like something you’d order at your favorite café. And bonus—it’s super easy to batch for guests!

Why This Combo Works

Chai is already packed with warming spices like cinnamon, cardamom, and clove, which happen to pair perfectly with the sweet, caramelized notes of peach cobbler. The Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup—made with real peaches, dark brown sugar, butter, and a pinch of salt—adds a lush, golden richness to the chai. It’s the kind of flavor combo that feels like a hug in a glass.

Ingredients:

  • Ice
  • 1 tablespoon Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup (add more or less depending on your preference)
  • 6 ounces chai concentrate
  • 4 ounces oat milk (2%, coconut, or almond milk also work beautifully)
  • Ground cinnamon (or nutmeg)

Directions for an Iced Latte:

  1. Fill a tall glass with ice. The colder the better—this drink is all about chill summer comfort.
  2. Drizzle in 1 tablespoon of your Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup.
  3. Pour in 4 ounces of oat milk, followed by 6 ounces of chai concentrate. The spices in the chai will mingle with the caramelized peaches in the syrup, creating that perfect “just baked” flavor.
  4. Stir well to combine all those cozy layers.
  5. Top with a dash of ground cinnamon to really drive home that cobbler vibe.
  6. Sip slowly and savor every creamy, spiced, peachy sip.

Directions for a Hot Latte:

  1. To a mug, add Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup and chai concentrate. Add the mug to the microwave and warm the mixture for 45 seconds (or warm the mixture in a pot on the stove).
  2. Add oat milk to a milk frothing pitcher and steam with a steam wand until frothy. If you don’t have a steam wand, heat the milk in the microwave (50 seconds) or on the stove, and froth with a handheld milk frother until frothy (about 1 minute). You could also use an electric milk frother like a Nespresso Aerroccino to warm and froth the oat milk.
  3. Pour the steamed (or frothed) oat milk over the peach syrup and chai mixture.
  4. Top with a dash of ground cinnamon and enjoy every cozy sip.

Optional Add-Ins:

  • Add whipped cream or a splash of vanilla sweet cream for extra richness.
  • Froth the milk before adding for a creamier texture (for an iced latte).
  • Want it stronger? Try a 2:1 chai-to-milk ratio.
  • Make it dirty! Add 1-2 shots of espresso for an extra boost of caffeine and flavor.

Large Batch of Peach Cobbler Chai Lattes:

Whether you’re hosting friends and family for brunch, or you just want to store a larger batch in the fridge for the week, I got you covered.

Makes 10 servings:

  • 5 ounces (10 tablespoons) Homemade Peach Cobbler Syrup
  • 64 ounces chai concentrate
  • 40 ounces oat milk
  • Ice cubes
  1. In a large pitcher, combine peach cobbler syrup, chai concentrate, and oat milk, and stir to combine.
  2. Fill the rest of the pitcher up with ice and serve immediately.

Tips:

  • If you don’t plan on drinking right away, don’t add the ice until right before serving so the ice doesn’t melt and water down the chai latte.
  • Leave a long spoon near or inside the pitcher so guests can stir the mixture as needed if the syrup collects at the bottom of the pitcher.
  • Offer the syrup separately in case guests just want a plain chai latte, or if they want to adjust the sweetness to their preference.

Which Chai Concentrate is Best?

When it comes to the best chai concentrate, it really depends on your preference and what you like in a chai flavor. Some of my favorite options include:
