Raspberry Flight Board – 4 Ways to Use Raspberry Syrup

If you’ve ever been to a brewery or coffee shop that offers drink flights, you know how fun it is to taste multiple flavors side-by-side. I wanted to bring that same concept into my kitchen, but with a twist — creating drink flights using the same syrup flavor.

For this first installment, I’m featuring my homemade raspberry syrup (though you can absolutely use store-bought if that’s easier). The result? A beautiful Raspberry Drink Flight Board with four totally different drinks — from coffee to tea to lemonade — all highlighting that tart, fruity raspberry flavor.

Whether you’re hosting friends, filming a taste test for social media, or just want to treat yourself to something fun, this flight board idea is perfect for any occasion.

What is a Drink Flight Board?

Traditionally, a flight board is a serving paddle with small glasses (usually 4–5 oz each) so you can sample different flavors without committing to a full-size drink. I grabbed a beer flight board online, but you could also use small mason jars, espresso cups, or any matching small glasses you have at home.

For this raspberry version, I created four mini drinks, each showcasing the syrup in a unique way. You can sip them in any order or even vote for your favorite at the end.

Where to Buy a Flight Board?

I bought my flight board from Amazon. They have tons of different options to choose from.

The 4 Drinks on My Raspberry Flight Board

Each drink here is a mini version of a recipe from my website — you can click each name for the full-size recipe. Simply scale the recipe down 1/4 to fit into a 5-ounce cup, and you’ve got your flight ready to go.

  1. Raspberry Lemonade with Popping Boba – Refreshing and fun, with juicy bursts from the boba.
  2. Raspberry Dirty Chai Latte – A cozy chai latte with espresso and raspberry syrup for a sweet-spicy twist.
  3. Raspberry Matcha Latte – Earthy matcha balanced with fruity raspberry for a gorgeous layered drink.
  4. Starbucks Raspberry Cream Cold Brew (Copycat) – Smooth cold brew topped with creamy raspberry cold foam.

How to Assemble Your Flight Board

  1. Choose your board and glasses – I used a beer flight board with four 5-ounce glasses. Opt for one with a chalk marker to write the name of each drink on the board.
  2. Scale your recipes – Each drink will be around 4 ounces of liquid, make sure to leave room for ice.
  3. Serve right away – These drinks are best enjoyed fresh, especially anything with cold foam or ice.

Make It a Party

A drink flight board is such a fun way to entertain guests. You can:

  • Have each person rate their favorite.
  • Offer a small snack pairing with each drink.
  • Theme it around seasons (summer flavors, holiday flavors, etc.).

Final Tip: Once you try this with raspberry, you’ll want to make flight boards for every syrup flavor you own — vanilla, caramel, lavender, peach, you name it. It’s an easy, creative way to enjoy drinks at home and impress anyone you serve them to.
