If you have some extra Robin Eggs Candies lying around this Easter, you have to try this simple and delicious Robin Eggs Frappe! With sweet white chocolate flavor and Robin Eggs candy bits, this recipe will be a hit for Easter gatherings and your coffee mornings following Easter Sunday!
Ingredients You’ll Need:
Please note, full measurements for each ingredient can be found on the recipe card at the bottom of the recipe.
Whole Milk: I prefer the creaminess of whole milk in this recipe, but absolutely feel free to use any milk you’d like for this frappe recipe!
Robin Eggs Candies: The star of the show are the chocolatey-malt Robin Eggs Candies! You’ll add a handful to the blender and also add some on top for a fun and festive tough to the drink!

White Chocolate Sauce: This ingredient will serve as the main flavoring and sweetener for the frappe! I like the Torani White Chocolate Sauce but you can use any brand you’d like, or even opt for the Sugar Free White Chocolate Sauce to lower the sugar in this drink. You could also swap the white chocolate sauce for a regular chocolate or mocha sauce, or even a caramel sauce!
Xanthan Gum: This ingredient is a powder that helps improve the overall texture of the frappe. You only need a small 1/8 teaspoon amount, and you can’t taste it at all. Xanthan gum has been my favorite secret ingredient for all my at home frappe recipes for years! It’s tasteless and helps your frappes goes from icy and clumpy to smooth and creamy! The xanthan gum is optional, but I very much recommend it for at home frappes and blended coffee beverages!
Instant Coffee/Instant Espresso: I love using instant coffee/espresso in my at home frappes because it gives the drink a great strong coffee taste without watering down the frappe. You can absolutely use liquid brewed coffee, espresso or cold brew, I would just recommend using less milk and more ice to accommodate for the increased amount of liquid!
Ice: Since this is a blended drink, you’ll need ice to thicken the frappe and give it that refreshing blended texture! Note, the recipe calls for 1 1/4 cups ice, but you may need to add more or less depending on the ice you use and the blender you use!
Whipped Cream: I love topping this Robin Eggs Frappe with a generous dollop of whipped cream for a perfect creamy addition! Skip it altogether or use a sugar free or dairy free whipped topping to accommodate your dietary preferences!

How To Make a Robin Eggs Frappe:
- To a blender add milk, robin eggs candies, white chocolate sauce, xanthan gum, instant coffee/espresso and ice.
- Blend until smooth then pour into a cup.
- Top with whipped cream and more Robin Eggs candies, and enjoy!
How To Make This Dairy Free?
This recipe would be difficult to make completely dairy free due to the Robin Eggs Candies having dairy in them, but for a lower dairy Robin Eggs Frappe:
- Use a dairy free milk like almond, coconut, soy, oat, etc
- Use a dairy free white chocolate sauce
- Use a dairy free whipped topping

How To Make This Sugar Free?
This recipe would be difficult to make completely sugar free due to the Robin Eggs Candies having sugar in them, but for a lower sugar Robin Eggs Frappe:
- Use a low sugar or sugar free milk like 1% milk or unsweetened oat milk
- Use a sugar free white chocolate sauce
- Use a sugar free whipped topping
Can I Use Brewed Coffee or Cold Brew Instead of Instant Coffee?
Yes, you can! I would just adjust the ratios to be:
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup chilled brewed coffee/cold brew
- everything else the same
Can I Use Espresso Instead of Instant Coffee?
Yes, you can! I would just adjust the ratios to be:
- 6 ounces whole milk
- 2 shots espresso
- everything else the same
