Homemade Marshmallow Peeps Creamer

If you grew up getting Peeps in your Easter basket every year…this one’s for you 🐣

My mom LOVES Peeps, and it’s become a little tradition for me to pick some up for her every Easter. So naturally, I had to turn that classic marshmallow flavor into a homemade coffee creamer.

This Marshmallow Peeps Creamer is rich, creamy, and perfectly sweet with that nostalgic marshmallow flavor you know and love, but made with simple ingredients.

And of course, I had to give it the full Peeps-inspired look with soft pastel colors 💛💗💜

Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Fun and festive for Easter
  • Sweet, creamy, classic marshmallow flavor
  • Made with simple, accessible ingredients
  • Customizable colors (or keep it neutral!)
  • Perfect for an Easter brunch coffee bar

Ingredients

How to Make Marshmallow Peeps Creamer

  1. Add the half & half, sweetened condensed milk, marshmallow extract, vanilla extract, and salt to a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and fully combined.
  3. Pour the creamer evenly into three separate containers. I like these smaller creamer bottles.
  4. Add yellow food coloring to one, pink to another, and lavender to the third.
  5. Secure the lids and shake each container to distribute the color evenly. Add more food coloring until you get the shade you like.
  6. Use the creamer in any drink right away, or store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or until the best by date on your half & half. Shake before using.

You’ll end up with three pastel Peeps-inspired creamers that are just as fun as they are delicious.

Customize the Colors

This step is totally optional!

You can:

  • Skip the food coloring entirely
  • Use just one color
  • Or create your own pastel shades

The flavor stays the same—this is just for a fun, festive touch.

Make It Kid-Friendly

You can also turn this into a fun, kid-friendly Easter drink!

Simply combine:

Shake or blend until combined, then serve!

It’s a fun, festive way for kids to join in on the “coffee bar” moment, no caffeine or extra sugar needed.

Perfect for Easter Brunch

This creamer is such a fun addition to an Easter coffee bar.

Serve it with:

  • hot coffee
  • iced coffee
  • cold brew
  • tea

And if you’re building out a full coffee bar, this pairs perfectly alongside my Carrot Cake Creamer or my Homemade Carrot Cake Syrup for the ultimate spring coffee setup.

Dairy-Free Option

To make this dairy-free, swap the:

  • half & half for a dairy-free half & half (like Nutpods or similar) or barista oat milk
  • sweetened condensed milk for a dairy-free sweetened condensed milk
    • like sweetened condensed oat milk
    • OR sweetend condensed coconut milk

You’ll still get that same creamy texture and marshmallow flavor.

Lower Sugar Option

If you want a lower sugar version:

  • Use a sugar-free sweetened condensed milk alternative
  • Or make your own using a sweetener like allulose

Allulose is my go-to because:

  • it doesn’t crystallize
  • it stays smooth and pourable
  • it tastes closest to real sugar

How to Store

Store your creamer in airtight containers (I like these small creamer bottles) in the fridge for up to 2 weeks (or until the expiration date of your half & half). Shake the creamer before using.

Final Thoughts

This is one of those recipes that just makes your coffee feel more fun.

It’s simple, nostalgic, and perfect for spring, and such an easy way to add a little festive touch to your morning routine. And if you’re putting together an Easter brunch or coffee bar, this is guaranteed to be a hit!
