Make It Your Summer Staple

This is the drink of the summer—refreshing, pretty, and full of fruity flavor. It’s perfect for sipping by the pool, serving at a brunch, or simply enjoying as a fun afternoon pick-me-up. And best of all? You don’t need to leave the house (or drain your wallet) to get your hands on it.

So go ahead—grab those boba pearls, mix up a batch of Summer Berry Base, and shake up something special. Cheers to staying cool, caffeinated (or not!), and making coffee shop-worthy drinks right from your kitchen.

Quick Tips:

  • Look for raspberry popping boba pearls online or at Asian grocery stores.
  • Green coffee bean powder can be found online and adds a gentle caffeine lift without altering the flavor.
  • For a caffeine-free version, simply leave out the green coffee bean powder.
  • Add lemonade or coconut milk to your refresher for added flavor and fun!

Hi Kat, could you please clarify the recipe for me? The base recipe has water…but when making a single drink it indicates water in the recipe. Is this correct? I’m adding water to the base and again to the single serving? Thank you 😊

Hello Myrna, the base is designed to be like a concentrate that you dilute with water, lemonade, or coconut milk depending on which version of the starbucks drink you’re wanting. So if you just want the plain summer berry refresher, you would add water for the base to create your concentrate, and then add water again when shaking to make the refresher drink! Or lemonade when shaking for the lemonade refresher, or coconut milk when shaking for the summer skies refresher 🙂
