    • 3 teaspoons sweetened matcha latte powder
    • 10 ounces Oatly Barista Edition oat milk
    • Ice
    • Crushed cinnamon cookies (for topping)

Cold Foam Best Practices

  • For great at home cold foam, you need a good handheld milk frother.
  • I recommend making your cold foam in a small, thin glass, rather than a wide glass. This helps the cold foam get thick throughout.
  • YES you need oat milk AND soy milk. Together, the two allow the cold foam to reach the necessary thickness for the cold foam to sit on top of the drink without seeping into the cold brew, all while maintaining that smooth drinkable cold foam texture.

Can I Add the Nondairy Salted Caramel Cream Cold Foam to Other Drinks?

Absolutely!! Add the cold foam on top of any latte, shaken espresso, mocha, or even a chai latte!

Tips and Variations

  • Adjust Sweetness: Customize the sweetness by using more or less matcha powder or salted caramel syrup according to your preference. Take note of the oat milk and soy milks, and choose sweetened or unsweetened options, depending on your preference.
  • Milk Options: Feel free to use any nondairy milk of your choice, such as almond milk or coconut milk, just know the texture may change, depending on which milks you use in the cold foam.
  • Serving Size: This recipe serves one, but you can easily double or triple the ingredients to make more servings.
